Papo Roach came out of the goal and Adrian Zbora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Navigatii Bacău's Papo Roach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Navigatii Bacău from getting a goal against them. After 11 played minutes Navigatii Bacău got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Urdin. In the 12th minute of the match Benny Škriniar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Papo Roach showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudiu Manolescu to make the kick off.
