Luca Lechințan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Iurea having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Eric Dărmănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Lechințan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Dacian Iurea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luca Lechințan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Dacian Iurea made a huge save. Dacian Iurea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Lechințan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valer Perișoară charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valer Perișoară the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Valer Perișoară hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes, FC Berea's Octavian Simuţ shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucrețiu Sfetcu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Berea reached it. Costin Malcoci struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Dacian Iurea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt. After 26 played minutes FC Berea got a freekick which was hit by Berea Luca. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Berea's goalkeeper Dacian Iurea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Berea's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andrei Brănescu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Posteucă in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucrețiu Sfetcu saved FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting behind. Toader Buzoianu struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Lucrețiu Sfetcu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Berea. With a left leg Lucrețiu Sfetcu saved FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, FC Berea's goalkeeper Dacian Iurea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costin Malcoci. When FC Berea's Adam Posteucă in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalie prevented a goal. Dacian Iurea was a little too slow when Valer Perișoară got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Posteucă was the one to do the kick off. When FC Berea's Adam Posteucă in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalie prevented a goal. Rareș Vârlan's late challenge caught a FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rareș Vârlan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Berea's Rareș Vârlan got a free kick in the 56th minute. Adam Posteucă scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucrețiu Sfetcu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the FC Berea defense, Costin Malcoci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dacian Iurea. The FC Berea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dacian Iurea should have stopped the shot. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt made a substitution. Horia Chioreanu replaced Costin Malcoci. FC Berea's Dacian Iurea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Chioreanu in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Horia Chioreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Iurea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horia Chioreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bogdan Cucu hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Horia Chioreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Iurea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
