Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Tudor Bodea made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of FC Vlahuță booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Chivu didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Vlahuță's Dacian Gugulanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Papadima in the 10th minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC Vlahuță's Corneliu Vulpăşin threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Costin Babarada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A nice corner shot did that Esa Hagelberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Corneliu Vulpăşin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Radomir Czerwinski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Corneliu Vulpăşin made a huge save. Gigi Miheș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Octavian Chivu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esa Hagelberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corneliu Vulpăşin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radomir Czerwinski in the 34th minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Radomir Czerwinski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Corneliu Vulpăşin to make any attempt to save it. After 37th play minutes Costin Babarada shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Corneliu Vulpăşin and just under the crossbar into goal. FC Vlahuță's Radomir Czerwinski got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Radomir Czerwinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costin Babarada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Unicorns ™ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Radomir Czerwinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Vlahuță's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomir Czerwinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corneliu Vulpăşin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Thanks to some nice moves Tudor Bodea could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Dacian Gugulanu however easily saved by the left post. With 61 minutes on the clock, Aurel Huștiu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Unicorns ™:s Corneliu Vulpăşin showed great skill when he stopped Esa Hagelberg:s penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudiu Doinaș in the 66th managed to get into a good position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Czerwinski in the 75th minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Radomir Czerwinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Claudiu Doinaș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Vlahuță's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudiu Doinaș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esa Hagelberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. With a left leg Corneliu Vulpăşin saved Unicorns ™ from getting behind. 91 minutes into the game, Dorin Plăcintă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unicorns ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Vlahuță the free kick. After 91 played minutes Unicorns ™ got a freekick which was hit by Dorin Plăcintă. With a little luck, FC Vlahuță's Dacian Gugulanu got control of the ball when Tudor Bodea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Czerwinski in the 97th minute of the match. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Doinaș in the 99th minute of play. FC Vlahuță walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
