Virgil Olariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Tapalagă, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Virgil Olariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Şuteu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Tudor Manolescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Adevarul Pur's Costin Stănculescu got control of the ball when Tudor Manolescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduard Şuteu in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgil Olariu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costin Stănculescu was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Mike Cai capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mike Cai really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Paralia Athens's attentive Petru Văidianu managed to snatch the ball when Petruț Iuzbașa made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ke Zhou Yuan got free with Costin Stănculescu in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 38 minutes, Mike Cai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paralia Athens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Cai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ke Zhou Yuan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Stelian Cruceru kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Virgil Olariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Şuteu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduard Şuteu was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Gheorghe Penescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ke Zhou Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Manole Muncelean got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Mihăiţă Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Gică Tapalagă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Adevarul Pur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Costin Stănculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Cai in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Mike Cai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adevarul Pur's Costin Stănculescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paralia Athens's Gürkan Akaydın was substituted for Ke Zhou Yuan. 88 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's Mike Cai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Costin Stănculescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paralia Athens's Virgil Olariu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Paralia Athens from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Adevarul Pur booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Manolescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paralia Athens's Virgil Olariu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Paralia Athens from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle, Paralia Athens could leave the field as winners, despite Adevarul Pur having more of the ball for most of the match.
