The Sporting Royal fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Sporting Royal's Rony Dudu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vecdi Bedel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute Sporting Royal were awarded a corner. Rony Dudu went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Sporting Royal's corner Rony Dudu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vecdi Bedel quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Virgil Pumnu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucrețiu Roșeanu made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Birkan Cam sent off a good shot on target. OLIVER ATHLETIC were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Sporting Royal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilbert Latocha took the corner. After taking down the ball on OLIVER ATHLETIC's corner Gilbert Latocha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucrețiu Roșeanu quite easily take care of the ball. When Virgil Panciu fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Royal's protests and gave Virgil Panciu a yellow card for diving instead. Virgil Panciu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Sporting Royal made a substitution. Damian Crăciun replaced Celso Valadares. Sporting Royal's Marcu Ploieșteanu was substituted for Nae Moisil. In the 77thth minute of the game Rony Dudu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OLIVER ATHLETIC's Vecdi Bedel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
