Wasyl Wawro scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Sparks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teo De Jong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Frederico Vilalobos made a huge save. In the 32nd minute of the match Serafim Mafra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter Sparks showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Serafim Mafra shot a long shot in the 32nd minute and a light blocked Peter Sparks hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-2. Frederico Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aprígio Henriques, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Baltasar Trimiño was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 42 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Miradeses FC! The referee gave Luigi Harammes a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Serafim Mafra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Miradeses FC's Peter Sparks. 1-3. Wasyl Wawro struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Peter Sparks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luigi Harammes. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo De Jong made a kick off. Wasyl Wawro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Sparks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Frederico Vilalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aprígio Henriques in the 54th minute of the match. When Wasyl Wawro came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Luigi Harammes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wasyl Wawro couldn't finish the play.
