Valinor's Zacarias Portugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Freire in the 4th minute of play. Jacinto Ponte in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zacarias Portugal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Filomeno Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute AD FAFE were awarded a corner. Jacinto Ponte went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led AD FAFE's Jacinto Ponte to fire away a dangerous shot which Zacarias Portugal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 13 minutes into the game, AD FAFE's Artur Caldas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Portugal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The AD FAFE fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when AD FAFE's Jacinto Ponte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 20 minutes, Jacinto Ponte made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. F.C. Valinor's Zacarias Portugal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Ponte in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacarias Portugal saved F.C. Valinor from getting behind. Zacarias Portugal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raul Sales showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 30th play minute Artur Caldas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zacarias Portugal. 5-0. In the 36th minute Jacinto Ponte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Portugal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute AD FAFE were awarded a corner. Jacinto Ponte went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 47th minute, Artur Caldas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Portugal was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto Ponte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, AD FAFE's Jacinto Ponte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Portugal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Zacarias Portugal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Ponte in the 58th minute of play. AD FAFE's Jacinto Ponte got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Portugal came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by AD FAFE's Artur Caldas. But to his dismay, Artur Caldas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 74 minutes into the game, AD FAFE's Jacinto Ponte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Portugal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Ponte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Portugal was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Zacarias Portugal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Ponte's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Caldas in the 85th minute of play forced F.C. Valinor's goalkeeper Zacarias Portugal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonçalo Freire scored 13-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Portugal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 14-0 when Jacinto Ponte sped through F.C. Valinor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zacarias Portugal. In the 93rd minute, Jacinto Ponte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Portugal was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0. 97 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Freire notched a goal, 16-0, to the right of F.C. Valinor's Zacarias Portugal. Zacarias Portugal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
