With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Regueira in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filomeno Santana saved AD FAFE from getting behind. Lei Hai Ming hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Caldas in the 22nd minute of play forced Unificação's goalkeeper Frazer Martin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Ponte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Regueira made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Ponte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frazer Martin was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. AD FAFE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
