In the 4th minute Alcides Antas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes, Alcides Antas made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. LA COSA NOSTRA's Durval Lage tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Durval Lage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcides Antas in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Alcides Antas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Xavier Sabrosa threw the ball into play from the sideline. LA COSA NOSTRA's Afonso Toscano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alcides Antas in the 17th minute of play forced LA COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Durval Lage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 23 minutes on the clock, Gabi March commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval Lage prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Artevasi F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The attack was good, but when Alcides Antas in the 47th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After the first half Artevasi F.C were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adérito Castro was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alcides Antas got free with Durval Lage in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacek Rasimowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alcides Antas hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Durval Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcides Antas in the 75th minute of play. Evandro Azeredo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match.
