FC CHIVA's Andrés Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save FC CHIVA from getting a goal against them. Andrés Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 余峰亦's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. With a little luck, FC CHIVA's Andrés Torres got control of the ball when Jacek Rasimowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mateus Perdigão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Palencia, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when 余峰亦 got free with Andrés Torres in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dan Engström was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alcides Antas made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC CHIVA's goal looked a bit too open when Alcides Antas came free, but Andrés Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacek Rasimowicz during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Artevasi F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Rasimowicz. The FC CHIVA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrés Torres should have stopped the shot. FC CHIVA's attentive Boniel Titos managed to snatch the ball when Ilídio Ribas made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Jacek Rasimowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Andrés Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alcides Antas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Alcides Antas made a precise shot to the right of Andrés Torres. FC CHIVA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 91 minutes into the match, FC CHIVA's Celso Rivas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateus Perdigão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Artevasi F.C's Jacek Rasimowicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrés Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Artevasi F.C fully deserved thier win.
