In the 7th minute, Filipe Meneses hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Pancho got free with Mikolaj Grunwalski in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Fresnos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liberto Merino, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 22 played minutes FLAMENGO San Sebastian got a freekick which was hit by Landolfo Macia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liberto Merino in the 23rd minute of play forced FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goalkeeper Angelo Fresnos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Emiliano Pancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mikolaj Grunwalski. Spartak de Txurdi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Pancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 34th minute, Pedro Dios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gav Smith in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Fresnos saved FLAMENGO San Sebastian from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Pancho in the 37th minute of play forced Spartak de Txurdi's goalkeeper Mikolaj Grunwalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikel Merino's late challenge caught a Spartak de Txurdi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikel Merino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute Liberto Merino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Fresnos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Liberto Merino made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Angelo Fresnos got control of the ball when Gav Smith tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mikolaj Grunwalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Pancho in the 54th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Pancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikolaj Grunwalski was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Gav Smith kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. FLAMENGO San Sebastian made a substitution. Gizon Nueva replaced Thomas Vermaelen. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spartak de Txurdi's goalkeeper Mikolaj Grunwalski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emiliano Pancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goalkeeper Angelo Fresnos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gav Smith struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Angelo Fresnos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartak de Txurdi. With his leg Angelo Fresnos managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Spartak de Txurdi's Gav Smith fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Angelo Fresnos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gav Smith went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the FLAMENGO San Sebastian players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
