The audience was convinced that Gav Smith's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 朱延岩 was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 朱延岩 was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Horacio Hernandez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horacio Hernandez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Felippe Ramalho lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 13 minutes into the game, one of Rua da Pinga:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rua da Pinga:s 朱延岩 showed great skill when he stopped Gav Smith:s penalty. Rua da Pinga's 朱延岩 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Rua da Pinga from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, one of Rua da Pinga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rua da Pinga. Rua da Pinga:s 朱延岩 showed great skill when he stopped Gav Smith:s penalty. Gav Smith might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 朱延岩. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gav Smith ran back to his position shaking his head. Rua da Pinga's 朱延岩 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Rua da Pinga from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rua da Pinga's goalkeeper 朱延岩, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 朱延岩 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gav Smith in the 31st minute of play. Gav Smith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but 朱延岩 made a huge save. Gav Smith took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 朱延岩. 朱延岩 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Etienne Krummenacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liberto Merino to make the kick off. With a little luck, Spartak de Txurdi's Mikolaj Grunwalski got control of the ball when Júlio Fragoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júlio Fragoso got free with Mikolaj Grunwalski in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Rua da Pinga getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Wieslaw Cwenar hit a great ball. 朱延岩 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liberto Merino, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 68 minutes Rua da Pinga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gav Smith who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Gav Smith almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rua da Pinga's 朱延岩 did a great save. After 68 played minutes Spartak de Txurdi got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Hernandez. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rua da Pinga's goalkeeper 朱延岩, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 朱延岩 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liberto Merino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Rua da Pinga defense, Gav Smith kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 朱延岩. The Rua da Pinga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 朱延岩 should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Wieslaw Cwenar in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Spartak de Txurdi's Filipe Meneses. 80 minutes into the game, Wieslaw Cwenar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rua da Pinga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spartak de Txurdi the free kick. Rua da Pinga's 朱延岩 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gav Smith in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Gav Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 朱延岩 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Spartak de Txurdi's Gav Smith made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 朱延岩 was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Gav Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Many of Rua da Pinga's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Rua da Pinga may have spent more time on the ball, but Spartak de Txurdi were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
