The referee ignored Spartak de Txurdi's protests and gave Ahmet Gökalp Taçkın a yellow card for diving instead. Ahmet Gökalp Taçkın hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Nueva Chicago's Santiago Cañizares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Nueva Chicago from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the game, one of Nueva Chicago:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
