Ole-Einar Nekstad was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Farense's players had a chance to rest. The corner led SC Farense's Ole-Einar Nekstad to fire away a dangerous shot which Ziya Onur Akıncıbey despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Arteixo's Tabb Astudillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guido Herrera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Sabino Telinhos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ziya Onur Akıncıbey. The goal made the score 1-0. Club Atletico Arteixo's Ziya Onur Akıncıbey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Arteixo from getting a goal against them. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Estevão Macedo in the 22nd minute. Grigoris Bikakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ziya Onur Akıncıbey made a huge save. With a little luck, Club Atletico Arteixo's Ziya Onur Akıncıbey got control of the ball when Grigoris Bikakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salvador Matias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliks Mazić was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Feliks Mazić recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guido Herrera. Feliks Mazić showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. 56 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Arteixo's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoris Bikakis came free, but Ziya Onur Akıncıbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tabb Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Herrera having to interfere. SC Farense's Tarcísio Marinho was substituted for Sabino Telinhos. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Matias in the 61st minute of the match. Guido Herrera made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Feliks Mazić sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tarcísio Marinho in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ziya Onur Akıncıbey saved Club Atletico Arteixo from getting behind. In the 73rd match minute, SC Farense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Matias to maneuver through the defense. SC Farense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Feliks Mazić scored to the left of an out of position Guido Herrera, making the score, 3-2. When Club Atletico Arteixo's Zuberoa Alabern, in the 77th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Arteixo. 81 minutes into the game, SC Farense's Grigoris Bikakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Club Atletico Arteixo's Ziya Onur Akıncıbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Matias in the 85th minute of play. Gentil Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Tarcísio Marinho scored 5-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ziya Onur Akıncıbey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Arteixo's Chano De Pedro got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Grigoris Bikakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Farense's supporters rose to their feet, but Grigoris Bikakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tarcísio Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the SC Farense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
