When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Zuberoa Alabern put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Igor Zambujal. In the 78thth minute of the game Maciej Jankowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Arteixo's Ziya Onur Akıncıbey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maciej Jankowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Ziya Onur Akıncıbey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th minute Zuberoa Alabern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Zambujal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Club Atletico Arteixo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AJAX were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
