Xorxa F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. García Morales ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Fuerzas Armadas's Gaizka Lorenzo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Joel Abrego hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Xerardo Amer put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Éder Mota. 42 minutes into the game, Julián Dean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xorxa F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fuerzas Armadas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Xorxa F.C.'s Julián Dean got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Brion Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46th play minutes Brion Garcia shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Coronel Valdivia and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Xerardo Amer made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Xerardo Amer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuerzas Armadas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xerardo Amer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quinto Nobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Éder Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Éder Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerardo Amer in the 54th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Xerardo Amer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Éder Mota was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Julián Dean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xorxa F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Julián Dean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Coronel Valdivia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Gaizkine Armada made a precise shot to the right of Éder Mota. Xorxa F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. With an all-out effort, Xorxa F.C.'s Coronel Valdivia threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Abrego, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Éder Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xerardo Amer in the 74th minute of the match. Éder Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaizkine Armada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 5-3 when Xerardo Amer sped through Xorxa F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Éder Mota. Xorxa F.C. made a substitution. Ilixo Idiaquez replaced Javier Silva. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xerardo Amer in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Éder Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the game, Xerardo Amer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-3. Éder Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 88 minutes, Quinto Nobo made it 7-3 with a short kick to the right side. Xorxa F.C.'s Éder Mota tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fuerzas Armadas's Coronel Valdivia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julián Dean in the 95th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fuerzas Armadas's zone, Julián Dean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Coronel Valdivia came out of the goal and Julián Dean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fuerzas Armadas had won after a very even match.
