In the 7thth minute of the game Xerardo Amer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salelles's Truylos Bernal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Coronel Valdivia came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Salelles's Paulino Marin. But to his dismay, Paulino Marin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 17th minute Xerardo Amer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Truylos Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coronel Valdivia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Turrilla in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Vinicio Turrilla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salelles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Vinicio Turrilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coronel Valdivia having to interfere. Fuerzas Armadas's Coronel Valdivia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Turrilla in the 34th minute of play. Truylos Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinto Nobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Fuerzas Armadas getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Urbasa Vazquez hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Paulino Marin made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Fuerzas Armadas's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Turrilla came free, but Coronel Valdivia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fuerzas Armadas booed when Salelles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Truylos Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaizkine Armada in the 56th minute of play. Truylos Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xerardo Amer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaizkine Armada in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Truylos Bernal saved Salelles from getting behind. In the 72nd minute of the match Fuerzas Armadas got a corner. Salelles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. García Morales ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Fuerzas Armadas's corner García Morales fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Truylos Bernal quite easily take care of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Paulino Marin made a precise shot to the right of Coronel Valdivia. Fuerzas Armadas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Salelles's Vinicio Turrilla got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Cedro Huguet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Coronel Valdivia. Fuerzas Armadas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cedro Huguet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Xerardo Amer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinto Nobo in the 85th minute of play forced Salelles's goalkeeper Truylos Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Gaizkine Armada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fuerzas Armadas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6.
