The referee showed Göran Svanberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Saint Glenn Gothenburg:s goal. The referee gave Saint Glenn Gothenburg a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jan-Åke Lindholm, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's Bolli Stopar. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Demesio Faxardo got a free kick in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the match, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Hägg came free, but Bolli Stopar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jakob Pihlberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennart Juhlin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK got a corner. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nils-Erik Zander ran over to the corner to take the kick. AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's Bolli Stopar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Hägg in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jan-Åke Lindholm was slow to take the kick. During this time Saint Glenn Gothenburg's players had a chance to rest. 37 minutes into the match, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goalkeeper Bolli Stopar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dawid Watarz. The supporters of Saint Glenn Gothenburg booed when AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Erik Zander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Jakob Pihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Juhlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakob Pihlberg to make the kick off. When Tage Danielsson came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Saint Glenn Gothenburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tage Danielsson couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Jonatan Johansson with Sture Dahlkvist as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 63 played minutes Sture Dahlkvist rounded Saint Glenn Gothenburg's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. After some careless play in the Saint Glenn Gothenburg defense, David Nordal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennart Juhlin. The Saint Glenn Gothenburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennart Juhlin should have stopped the shot. Bolli Stopar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Hägg in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Ludwig Hägg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bolli Stopar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bolli Stopar came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Ludwig Hägg. But to his dismay, Ludwig Hägg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 78th minute Ludwig Hägg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolli Stopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Juhlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Pihlberg in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper Lennart Juhlin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Nordal. Lennart Juhlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Ludwig Hägg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolli Stopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neville Staples hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Lennart Juhlin got control of the ball when David Nordal tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Hägg in the 93rd minute of play forced AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goalkeeper Bolli Stopar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goal looked a bit too open when Sture Dahlkvist came free, but Lennart Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
