The supporters of FC Hammarby Sjöstad booed when Doffes Damer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duran İlseven didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Ozan Heybetli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. In the 40th minute, Inge Braa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sixten Tunander, passed just outside the right post. Herbert Wincek made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leopoldo Barbosa however managed to control. Sixten Tunander was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Inge Braa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Inge Braa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 48 minutes into the game, Ozan Heybetli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gabriel Fanström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inge Braa was the one to do the kick off. Inge Braa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixten Tunander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Sixten Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inge Braa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixten Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Utfal in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Gabriel Fanström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ozan Heybetli. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ozan Heybetli got free with Gabriel Fanström in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Knut Utfal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Utfal in the 91st minute of play forced FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goalkeeper Sixten Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Fanström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ozan Heybetli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 97 minute of play.
