Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Orvar Kihlman started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, BV Borussia Hammarby's Orvar Kihlman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wictor Mejling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 11 minutes in the game Fritz Elg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sigvard Wahlnäs. After 12 played minutes Syrianska FF got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Elg. Jairo Asteguieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Syrianska FF got a corner. BV Borussia Hammarby's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fritz Elg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fritz Elg made a great header on Syrianska FF's corner, it was just that BV Borussia Hammarby's Jairo Asteguieta managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 20th minute, Orvar Kihlman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wictor Mejling. The goal made the score 1-0. Orvar Kihlman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wictor Mejling having to make a save. Orvar Kihlman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Wictor Mejling made a huge save. In the 27th minute Jens-Åke Godholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Asteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wictor Mejling was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Orvar Kihlman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. In the 35th minute Tor Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Asteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Asteguieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Åke Godholm in the 37th minute of play. Orvar Kihlman in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wictor Mejling, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 40 minutes into the match, Thomás Nickerson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of BV Borussia Hammarby's Jairo Asteguieta. Jairo Asteguieta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Orvar Kihlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wictor Mejling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orvar Kihlman in the 43rd minute. In the 47th match minute, Syrianska FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tor Fredriksson to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomás Nickerson was the one to do the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Syrianska FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Jairo Asteguieta made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Jens-Åke Godholm sent off a good shot on target. Orvar Kihlman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wictor Mejling having to make a save. Wictor Mejling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Kihlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BV Borussia Hammarby's Jairo Asteguieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás Nickerson in the 70th minute of play. BV Borussia Hammarby made a substitution. Honorio Florin replaced Orvar Kihlman. BV Borussia Hammarby made a substitution. Sonny Blom replaced Karl Springfält. Syrianska FF made a substitution. A nice corner shot did that Fritz Elg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jairo Asteguieta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Honorio Florin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wictor Mejling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Syrianska FF booed when BV Borussia Hammarby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicklas Forsell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Kent Norberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jairo Asteguieta, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Syrianska FF's Tage Damm got a free kick in the 87th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Erland Björkqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jairo Asteguieta. That made the score 2-3 in the 92 minute of play. When Andy Boerma came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the BV Borussia Hammarby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Boerma couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Syrianska FF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
