The Szimbas Lejonflock fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Beck should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Szimbas Lejonflock's goal looked a bit too open when Pär Odén came free, but Anton Beck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Beck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Andersson in the 39th minute of the match. Pär Groth took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Beck. Anton Beck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Andersson to make the kick off. With a left leg Anton Beck saved Szimbas Lejonflock from getting behind. In the 92nd minute of the match Idrottsklubben -03 got a corner. Szimbas Lejonflock's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kurt Andreasson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sven Morat might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt Siggesson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven Morat ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar Andersson took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt Siggesson. Bengt Siggesson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Szimbas Lejonflock had won after a very even match.
