In the 5th minute, Karl-Magnus Hansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kalle Askberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Marques in the 6th minute of play. Edgar Marques took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kalle Askberg. Kalle Askberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Karl-Magnus Hansson hit a great ball. Mustafa Jamil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Askberg having to interfere. Jan Abrahamsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Abrahamsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Edgar Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Bernardo Pitta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jan Abrahamsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Marques in the 29th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Ted Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Jamil. When Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PP Plessydask's goalie prevented a goal. The throw-in from Karl-Magnus Hansson in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PP Plessydask's Babe Baadegaard. Alf Hansson scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Abrahamsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute Jan Håning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ted Holmgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Jan Abrahamsson made a huge save. Jan Abrahamsson made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Jan Håning sent off a good shot on target. Kalle Askberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babe Baadegaard in the 90th minute of play. Sundborn IF's Du Le Wen was substituted for Jan Håning. Sundborn IF's Heigo Valt was substituted for Henning Bennet. In the 98th minute of the match PP Plessydask got a corner. Sundborn IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Artemio Lastur ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led PP Plessydask's Palle Pottenstein to fire away a dangerous shot which Kalle Askberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The PP Plessydask supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sundborn IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Sundborn IF.
