In the 35th minute, FC Bodil United's Simon Gahnsby ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aaron Glanselius. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Gahnsby to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Simon Gahnsby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Bodil United made a substitution. Rod Marsland replaced Simon Gahnsby. SSC Ambrosini's attentive Kristian Wiberg managed to snatch the ball when Joakim Kjellberg made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. FC Bodil United's supporters rose to their feet, but Rod Marsland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Glanselius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Aaron Glanselius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joakim Kjellberg made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SSC Ambrosini's Gösta Berggren. In the 89th minute, Rod Marsland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaron Glanselius was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. FC Bodil United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
