István Fejes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Nyström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Golden Lions FC were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after AC Superstar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arne Tönnberg took the corner. István Fejes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Durazno, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sepo Kroonpea. In the 11th minute, Loco Durazno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. István Fejes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 15th minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but István Fejes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the AC Superstar defense, Loco Durazno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of István Fejes. The AC Superstar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that István Fejes should have stopped the shot. István Fejes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. István Fejes came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno. But to his dismay, Loco Durazno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 25 minutes into the match, Loco Durazno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of István Fejes. AC Superstar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loco Durazno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. István Fejes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loco Durazno went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that István Fejes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but István Fejes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco Durazno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mats Nyström in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg István Fejes saved AC Superstar from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mats Nyström made a kick off. Mats Nyström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of István Fejes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mats Nyström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, István Fejes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Archie Ambriz in the 55th minute of play. István Fejes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to AC Superstar getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Archie Ambriz hit a great ball. AC Superstar made a substitution. Adam Skager replaced Kauan Peres. After a rather tough play, AC Superstar's Archie Ambriz got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 minutes of play, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. István Fejes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Golden Lions FC's Cosme Larpe was substituted for Georg Termander. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Burç Tokhan replaced Loco Durazno. After 69 minutes of play, Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. István Fejes was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Burç Tokhan in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg István Fejes saved AC Superstar from getting behind. Burç Tokhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over István Fejes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Burç Tokhan ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, AC Superstar's Jan-Olof Stephansson got a free kick in the 79th minute. AC Superstar's Sebastian Bergdal was substituted for Björn Ryberg. Golden Lions FC's İbrahim Efe Topdemir was substituted for Hazım Tuğlu. In the 81st match minute, AC Superstar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Stephansson to maneuver through the defense. When Arne Tönnberg came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Golden Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arne Tönnberg couldn't finish the play. AC Superstar's István Fejes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save AC Superstar from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Archie Ambriz in the 88th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. István Fejes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burç Tokhan in the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of AC Superstar booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Dzierwa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sepo Kroonpea in the 95th minute of the match. Golden Lions FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
