The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Artetas artilleri defense, Argyris Papapetrou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Iratzeder. The Artetas artilleri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Iratzeder should have stopped the shot. Rıza Vuralhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Brandin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Brandin in the 8th minute of play. Noel Abraham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Rıza Vuralhan made a huge save. Rıza Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Strömsbro IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valter Siöman was slow to take the kick. During this time Artetas artilleri's players had a chance to rest. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Siöman in the 17th minute of play. Argyris Papapetrou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Iratzeder having to interfere. Fred Allbom hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Argyris Papapetrou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanio Iratzeder having to make a save. Epifanio Iratzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Papapetrou in the 28th minute of play. Epifanio Iratzeder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Argyris Papapetrou's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Asklöv in the 33rd minute of play forced Artetas artilleri's goalkeeper Epifanio Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Strömsbro IF were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Artetas artilleri's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mao Jun Yun took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 40th minute of play forced Artetas artilleri's goalkeeper Epifanio Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noel Abraham to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Cardozo in the 51st minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Michael Kristiansson hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Artetas artilleri's goalkeeper Epifanio Iratzeder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leon Russel made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Conrado Cardozo however managed to control. 65 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Brandin came free, but Rıza Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanio Iratzeder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Epifanio Iratzeder. Epifanio Iratzeder yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Noel Abraham took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rıza Vuralhan. Rıza Vuralhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Argyris Papapetrou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Epifanio Iratzeder. That made the score 1-3 in the 76 minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Argyris Papapetrou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Epifanio Iratzeder. Argyris Papapetrou showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 83 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanio Iratzeder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute Strömsbro IF were awarded a corner. Mao Jun Yun went to the cornerflag to take it. Strömsbro IF's Mao Jun Yun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Epifanio Iratzeder in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Siöman in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes in the game Glen Buxton did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Noel Abraham. Leon Russel got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Conrado Cardozo. In the 94th match minute, Artetas artilleri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Argyris Papapetrou could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Epifanio Iratzeder however easily saved by the left post. The Artetas artilleri supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Strömsbro IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Strömsbro IF.
