LeBron Puck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Eckegren having to interfere. In the 4th minute, LeBron Puck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Staffan Eckegren. The goal made the score 1-0. A throw-in in the 10th minute of the game was made by Oskar Uter with Horea Vulcănescu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 15 minutes into the match, G A I S's goalkeeper Staffan Eckegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by LeBron Puck. In the 16th minute Arne Stensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, G A I S's Horea Vulcănescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Orozco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 26th match minute, G A I S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Vulcănescu to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Magnus Ferm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Staffan Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Orozco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Stensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. G A I S's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cléber Marinho in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers LeBron Puck in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Staffan Eckegren saved G A I S from getting behind. In the 37thth minute of the game LeBron Puck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G A I S's Staffan Eckegren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Orozco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Vulcănescu in the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horea Vulcănescu made a kick off. Jonathan Orozco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Jernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. G A I S's Staffan Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by LeBron Puck in the 53rd minute of play. Staffan Eckegren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 62 minutes into the match, G A I S's goal looked a bit too open when LeBron Puck came free, but Staffan Eckegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billesholm's Eugeniusz Huchro got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Billesholm made a substitution. Kurd Hamrin replaced Karl-Magnus Ferm. Billesholm's Klas Ahlström was substituted for LeBron Puck. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Stensson in the 69th minute of play forced Billesholm's goalkeeper Jonathan Orozco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Staffan Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Ahlström in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Arne Stensson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Orozco was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Ty Scholes made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Arne Stensson however managed to control. Cléber Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jonathan Orozco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, G A I S's goal looked a bit too open when Kurd Hamrin came free, but Staffan Eckegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. G A I S's Staffan Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Ahlström in the 94th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
