The audience thought a goal was coming when Pawel Niedziela got free with Adilson do Vale in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dirie FC's Sonny Hedlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Hellbom in the 7th minute of play. Sonny Hedlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Hellbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Dirie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Söderkvist came free, but Sonny Hedlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Åke Ahlbeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Dirie FC were awarded a corner. Valentin Hård went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Al-Slottshöjden getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Reggie Clement hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Hugo Söderkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sonny Hedlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the game, Jörgen Lindqvist threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dirie FC's Lorenz Petris quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pawel Niedziela received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adilson do Vale came out and tried to block the shot, but Pawel Niedziela slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Casper Asserlind kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adilson do Vale. That made the score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. Dirie FC's attentive Lorenz Petris managed to snatch the ball when Jörgen Lindqvist made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. Pawel Niedziela in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adilson do Vale, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Pawel Niedziela made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Al-Slottshöjden booed when Dirie FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenz Petris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pawel Niedziela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adilson do Vale having to make a save. In the 60th minute Pawel Niedziela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Söderkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Hedlund having to interfere. Pawel Niedziela might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adilson do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pawel Niedziela ran back to his position shaking his head. Adilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Niedziela in the 65th minute of play. Pawel Niedziela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adilson do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Adilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Asserlind in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dirie FC's Dennis Bergstedt got a free kick in the 80th minute. Sonny Hedlund acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Josef Hellbom. Sonny Hedlund stood somewhat misplaced when Reggie Clement came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 85 minute. The throw-in from Luka Weber in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dirie FC's Lorenz Petris. Lorenz Petris hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
