An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 5th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Vince Di Cola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, KIA KAHA's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Tsigalko came free, but Fabio Santilli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Maxim Tsigalko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Santilli. KIA KAHA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxim Tsigalko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Samurai's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos came free, but Vince Di Cola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zdzislaw Rydzewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alto Wing struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Fabio Santilli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samurai. Samurai were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after KIA KAHA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Allan Bivall took the corner. Vince Di Cola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Rydzewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fabio Santilli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Henriksson in the 53rd minute of play. The corner led Samurai's Allan Bivall to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabio Santilli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Samurai's Hermengildo Huly got a free kick in the 59th minute. KIA KAHA made a substitution. Pelle Flinck replaced Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos. KIA KAHA's Thomas Corredor was substituted for Marcelino Calzada. Hermengildo Huly hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esbjörn Hultstrand in the 66th minute of play forced KIA KAHA's goalkeeper Fabio Santilli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samurai's Vince Di Cola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelle Flinck in the 77th minute of play. Vince Di Cola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Glanselius in the 79th minute. Fabio Santilli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wu Qi went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute, Allan Bivall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Santilli was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Wu Qi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Santilli having to make a save. Fabio Santilli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wu Qi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. KIA KAHA's Fabio Santilli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Qi in the 90th minute of play. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Samurai fans cheered their team off the field, for while KIA KAHA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
