Christoffer Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 20th minute Viktor Albäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Ingemar Jonasson made a precise shot to the right of Erik Skog. Garphyttan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Michael Kvalfält made in the 36th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Donato de Salles however managed to control. 41 minutes into the game, Dinaras Kantauskas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garphyttan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oakcroft Thrashers the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Garphyttan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinaras Kantauskas to maneuver through the defense. Anders Andersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Skog having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rähim Sterling made the kick off in the second half. Christoffer Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Albäck in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ingemar Jonasson could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Erik Skog however easily saved by the left post. If Anders Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Jörn Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Jörn Petersson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garphyttan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ingemar Jonasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Erik Skog made a huge save. Garphyttan's Jim Kellman was substituted for Michael Kvalfält. When Garphyttan's Algot Ahlfors in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oakcroft Thrashers's goalie prevented a goal. Christoffer Modig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's goalkeeper Erik Skog had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingemar Jonasson. The supporters of Garphyttan booed when Oakcroft Thrashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Andersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 minutes of play, Garphyttan's Algot Ahlfors made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christoffer Modig was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Oakcroft Thrashers players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Garphyttan from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
