The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aleksander Gustafsson scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Szczepan Adamus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Algot Myr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Chiesa in the 12th minute of play. Säfvahöjden's Szczepan Adamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Pihlblad in the 22nd minute of play. In the 30th minute Aleksander Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Adamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szczepan Adamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Gustafsson in the 30th minute of the match. Säfvahöjden's Szczepan Adamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Gustafsson in the 35th minute of play. In the 41st minute Hockeysnubbarnas BK were awarded a corner. Sven Dala went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half Hockeysnubbarnas BK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Joakim Pihlblad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Szczepan Adamus made a huge save. The supporters of Hockeysnubbarnas BK booed when Säfvahöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Säfvahöjden's Pan Yan Rong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Algot Myr narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Kent Kilberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hockeysnubbarnas BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Kent Kilberg in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Säfvahöjden's zone, Kent Kilberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Szczepan Adamus came out of the goal and Kent Kilberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Kent Kilberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Kilberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hockeysnubbarnas BK played a much better game than Säfvahöjden and deserved their victory. The Säfvahöjden players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
