The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kuno Lüdimõis made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Jerzy Tamulewicz sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the match, FC ICEWIND DALE's goalkeeper Kuno Lüdimõis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerzy Tamulewicz. Fernando Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kasper Schmeichel having to make a save. Kasper Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Wiktor Ferfecki made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ding Beckham. After a rather tough play, Kamionka Death SquaD's Jerzy Tamulewicz got a free kick in the 21st minute. Kamionka Death SquaD's Kasper Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Marinho in the 24th minute of play. Kuno Lüdimõis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiko Sibon in the 26th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Marcelo Ascencio threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC ICEWIND DALE's Wiktor Ferfecki quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Marinho in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kasper Schmeichel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Marcelo Ascencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fernando Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the FC ICEWIND DALE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Marinho couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oliver Bierhoff was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 57th minute of play forced FC ICEWIND DALE's goalkeeper Kuno Lüdimõis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, FC ICEWIND DALE's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Kuno Lüdimõis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuno Lüdimõis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Bierhoff's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Bierhoff in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kuno Lüdimõis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC ICEWIND DALE made a substitution. Wincent Debowski replaced Boguslaw Zdeb. The supporters of FC ICEWIND DALE booed when Kamionka Death SquaD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heiko Sibon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kamionka Death SquaD's Kasper Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Kamionka Death SquaD from getting a goal against them. In the 89thth minute of the game Wojciech Winograd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC ICEWIND DALE's Kuno Lüdimõis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the game, one of Kamionka Death SquaD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kasper Schmeichel went to the wrong direction when Walery Wolicki was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The FC ICEWIND DALE players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
