Dido Kardashev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Pisarczyk in the 13th minute of play. Lech Czaplicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ken Kot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ken Kot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Dacio in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Jakub Dembowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dido Kardashev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Florentino Dacio could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Ken Kot however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Banas in the 28th minute of play forced ACe Aimaro Juniors's goalkeeper Dido Kardashev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Czaplicki in the 29th minute of play forced Skarpa Ełk's goalkeeper Ken Kot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes Skarpa Ełk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lech Czaplicki who took care of the corner kick. Demircan Münib hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Florentino Dacio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ken Kot having to make a save. With an all-out effort, ACe Aimaro Juniors's Ken Kot threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florentino Dacio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A sloppy throw-in by Milosz Turak in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Skarpa Ełk's Roch Pisarczyk. In the 46th minute of the match, Lech Czaplicki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ken Kot was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florentino Dacio made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Lech Czaplicki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ken Kot was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Agustin Belo replaced Lech Czaplicki. 96 minutes into the game, Marius Niculae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Ken Kot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Many of Skarpa Ełk's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Skarpa Ełk may have spent more time on the ball, but ACe Aimaro Juniors were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
