If Benet Amorebieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tolek Kiszkiel made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Benet Amorebieta sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute of the game Calito Izquierdoz made a throw-in which Fernando Morientes played forward. A collision led to Dark Drinkers Sanok getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Vali Erbașu hit a great ball. Józef Wandzik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Czeszejko's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Józef Wandzik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 22nd minute of play. Józef Wandzik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikola Mirotić, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Wilfredo Vellito made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dark Drinkers Sanok's Alfred Odachowski. The audience was convinced that Benet Amorebieta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolek Kiszkiel was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Artur Walczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Benet Amorebieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dark Drinkers Sanok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benet Amorebieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Czeszejko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benet Amorebieta made a kick off. Józef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes of play, Dark Drinkers Sanok's Benet Amorebieta made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tolek Kiszkiel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dark Drinkers Sanok's attentive Vali Erbașu managed to snatch the ball when Sixto Yanguas made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Józef Wandzik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabian Czeszejko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. A collision led to Olimpia HSB getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rodney Lindov hit a great ball. Dark Drinkers Sanok's Józef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Mirotić in the 65th minute of play. Javier Zanetti kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Olimpia HSB made a substitution. Zbyszko Skorny replaced Rodney Lindov. In the 81st match minute, Dark Drinkers Sanok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Zanetti to maneuver through the defense. Jacek Pietrowiak had several of the Dark Drinkers Sanok's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Józef Wandzik as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 90th minute Benet Amorebieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Kiszkiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
