In the 12th minute Orvar Fribäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Lindholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim Lindholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Alf Engman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jim Lindholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Kvalfält in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Lindman came free, but Jim Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Lindman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Åhus Absolut F.C's Jim Lindholm got control of the ball when Joel Lindman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jim Lindholm came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by AC United's 石庭军. But to his dismay, 石庭军 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Torsten Enström kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Ström came free, but Alf Engman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, 石庭军 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jim Lindholm. 石庭军 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 65 minutes into the match, Robin Holmgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jim Lindholm. Åhus Absolut F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robin Holmgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Coşkun Sehim scored 1-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alf Engman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vilhelm Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AC United's Arne Alén was substituted for Orvar Fribäck. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilhelm Berg in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alf Engman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Lindman had several of the Åhus Absolut F.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Jim Lindholm as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jim Lindholm was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Joel Lindman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Lindman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Åhus Absolut F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Robin Holmgren scored to the left of an out of position Jim Lindholm, making the score, 1-6.
