The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bo-Erik Grelsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joacim Söderberg having to make a save. Joacim Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Norberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joacim Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Norberg in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Jonstorp FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hjalmar Palm to maneuver through the defense. Jonstorp FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Roger Norberg scored to the left of an out of position Joacim Söderberg, making the score, 1-0. Joacim Söderberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo-Erik Grelsson in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper Joel Tolsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Håkan Eklund notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Jonstorp FK's Joacim Söderberg. Joacim Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Jonstorp FK's Joacim Söderberg got control of the ball when Håkan Eklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joacim Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tage Brodin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Jonstorp FK were furious when Hjalmar Palm was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jonstorp FK! Bo-Erik Grelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Bo-Erik Grelsson had several of the Jonstorp FK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Joacim Söderberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bo-Erik Grelsson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Joacim Söderberg 44 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ola Isaksson made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Tage Brodin notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Jonstorp FK's Joacim Söderberg. Joacim Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joacim Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Törnblom in the 69th minute of play. Jonstorp FK's Joacim Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Brodin in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jonstorp FK's zone, Bo-Erik Grelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joacim Söderberg came out of the goal and Bo-Erik Grelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Jonstorp FK booed when BK Värdsholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Törnblom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Beckeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BK Värdsholmen's Kent Törnblom got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
