When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Lars Olofsson sped through The Skates's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan Zorge. After 35 minutes of play, Newcastle United FC's Max Mohammad made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Zorge was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lars Olofsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Jan Zorge when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lars Olofsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Jan Zorge skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to The Skates getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Vilhelm Karlstedt hit a great ball. Lars Olofssons short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Jan Zorge to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Claes Ahlroht fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newcastle United FC's protests and gave Claes Ahlroht a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Newcastle United FC got a freekick which was hit by Nichifor Crivoi. 68 minutes into the match, Newcastle United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Hybbert came free, but Otto Hermansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Zorge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Liermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Max Mohammad in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Zorge saved The Skates from getting behind. Max Mohammad might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Zorge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Max Mohammad ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Newcastle United FC's Otto Hermansson got control of the ball when Edgar Degas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Lars Olofsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Skates's Jan Zorge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Lars Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Florian Liermann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Zorge was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Max Mohammad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Zorge having to interfere. The Skates's Jan Zorge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Åström in the 96th minute of play.
