Kingpins's Lu Qing Ang managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Filiberto Sauca in the 17 minute of the game. Kingpins were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Swindon Sweden FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulf Kling took the corner. Kingpins's Ulf Kling was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Reynaldo Tino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Kurt Haglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kingpins's Bixente Poli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Haglund in the 27th minute of play. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew the final whistle, Kingpins could leave the field as winners, despite Swindon Sweden FF having more of the ball for most of the match.
