The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GrassNuts FC! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Finnman in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Ekrot saved Vykans Vikingar from getting behind. After 24 minutes, Bernt Finnman made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Martin Mutumba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vykans Vikingar's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Mutumba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Su Peng Jian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Su Peng Jian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Mutumba in the 41st minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitaliy van der Aa to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy van der Aa in the 51st minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy van der Aa in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Trancoso in the 80th minute of play. Vykans Vikingar were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after GrassNuts FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jose Indalecio took the corner. Hílton Souza hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GrassNuts FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre-Emile Højbjerg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Su Peng Jian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Roger Magnusson made in the 91st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Verner Wahlnäs immediately put the ball in play. Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vykans Vikingar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
