In the 7th minute Jerry Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Näver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brazilio Butt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Gregersson in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, INIXET BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Nordlander came free, but Kent Näver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Ulf Nordlander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Näver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when INIXET BK's Oscar Hääger in the 19th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Brazilio Butt was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for DIF LEEDS BK through an amazing save. Kent Näver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Nordlander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes INIXET BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eduardo Selmo who took care of the corner kick. Karl-Magnus Bergman hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Gregersson in the 43rd minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ulf Nordlander made the kick off in the second half. Kent Näver was a little too slow when Jerry Jonasson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-1. Brazilio Butt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carl Kalfhage went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Brazilio Butt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Hääger's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the INIXET BK defense, Jerry Jonasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kent Näver. The INIXET BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kent Näver should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Tom Lövgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brazilio Butt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. DIF LEEDS BK made a substitution. Pál Kormos replaced Henric Persson. The audience was convinced that Carl Kalfhage's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brazilio Butt was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's Jerry Jonasson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kent Näver narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when INIXET BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Svanberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renzo Ingelborgs in the 86th minute of play forced INIXET BK's goalkeeper Kent Näver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Kalfhage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kent Näver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Jonasson in the 92nd minute of play. Oscar Hääger kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
