After 4 minutes of play, Skövde AIK's Kevin Keegan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gösta Andreasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claes Landin hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Olov Wahlnäs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Grep, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Wahlnäs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Grep in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Ninjas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Chen Ao Fan came free, but Gösta Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Chen Ao Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Torbjörn Grep made a precise shot to the right of Olov Wahlnäs. Skövde AIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Ninjas FK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dans Are hit a great ball. Chen Ao Fan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gösta Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Keegan got free with Gösta Andreasson in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute Chen Ao Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Grep came free, but Olov Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torbjörn Grep received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Olov Wahlnäs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Grep stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 65 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Olov Wahlnäs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torbjörn Grep. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Torbjörn Grep managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ninjas FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Torbjörn Grep was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Wahlnäs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Skövde AIK's Jerry Williams was substituted for Chen Ao Fan. 75 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Grep came free, but Olov Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorden Blomme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Wahlnäs having to interfere. Ninjas FK's Gösta Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Williams in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Keegan. Olov Wahlnäs made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Torbjörn Grep sent off a good shot on target. After 96 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Hägert. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Skövde AIK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
