The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ronny Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Porto in the 7th minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Sixten Sjö left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jonsereds IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Apolo Vela hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Kilstedt came free, but Sture Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Kilstedt in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sture Abrahamsson saved Bajen from getting behind. Gil Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Johansson in the 26th minute of the match. Johan Johansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Gil Garcia made a huge save. Gil Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johan Johansson in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Johansson got free with Gil Garcia in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Hans Kilstedt notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bajen's Sture Abrahamsson. Sture Abrahamsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bajen's Sture Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Kilstedt in the 36th minute of play. Gil Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Caballero's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Jonsereds IF's Shen Xun Chen got a free kick in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bajen's Bernardo Caballero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gil Garcia. That made the score 1-2 after 40 minutes of play. Johan Johansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Gil Garcia made a huge save. The Bajen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jonsereds IF were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sidney Porto was the one to do the kick off. Gil Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Porto in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute Bernardo Caballero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Bide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Rafael Bide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The supporters of Bajen booed when Jonsereds IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Vela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sture Abrahamsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Kilstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nicklas Trøjgaard came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Bajen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicklas Trøjgaard couldn't finish the play. Hans Kilstedt hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Caballero in the 72nd minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixten Sjö struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Sture Abrahamsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonsereds IF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Porto in the 85th minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gil Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 89 played minutes Jonsereds IF got a freekick which was hit by Lars Hernström. In the 95th match minute, Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Norberg to maneuver through the defense. The Jonsereds IF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bajen from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
