Silvain Labrouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Carballo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Carballo in the 16th minute of play forced GOMEZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvain Labrouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CS La Libertad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Jonatan Chaime scored to the left of an out of position Ernesto Monge, making the score, 1-0. Miguel Volio hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Silvain Labrouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Carballo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Barrantes in the 33rd minute of play forced GOMEZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvain Labrouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CS La Libertad's Elias Carballo managed to work through GOMEZ F.C.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Elias Carballo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. GOMEZ F.C.'s Silvain Labrouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Barrantes in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Agustin Barrantes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvain Labrouche was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Silvain Labrouche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Volio in the 39th minute of the match. Silvain Labrouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Carballo in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of CS La Libertad booed when GOMEZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvain Labrouche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Barrantes's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Silvain Labrouche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Volio went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

GOMEZ F.C.'s Jonatan Chaime got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GOMEZ F.C.'s Silvain Labrouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Barrantes in the 54th minute of play. Silvain Labrouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Carballo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Barrantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Silvain Labrouche made a huge save. In the 66th minute, Elias Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in GOMEZ F.C.'s zone, Elias Carballo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvain Labrouche came out of the goal and Elias Carballo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Monge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Ritter's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Ritter in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Monge saved CS La Libertad from getting behind. Silvain Labrouche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Volio in the 72nd minute. Agustin Barrantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Silvain Labrouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CS La Libertad made a substitution. Luis Martinez replaced Gerardo Millot. GOMEZ F.C.'s Silvain Labrouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Carballo in the 83rd minute of play.
