Yves Passot struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Silvain Labrouche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montevideo City Torque. Yves Passot's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Silvain Labrouche skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, GOMEZ F.C.'s Henry Ritter got a free kick in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the GOMEZ F.C. defense, Yves Passot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvain Labrouche. The GOMEZ F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvain Labrouche should have stopped the shot. Christophe Troxler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Ritter in the 16th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, GOMEZ F.C.'s Henry Ritter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christophe Troxler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Henry Ritter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christophe Troxler. Montevideo City Torque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Ritter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Rudolf Bergqvist took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christophe Troxler. Christophe Troxler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Montevideo City Torque made a substitution. Reuben Meade replaced Cristian Leizaur. In the 27thth minute of the game Yves Passot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GOMEZ F.C.'s Silvain Labrouche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, GOMEZ F.C.'s Silvain Labrouche got control of the ball when Guillelme Lomas tried to sneak it across the goal line. GOMEZ F.C.'s Silvain Labrouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Passot in the 39th minute of play. After 39 played minutes GOMEZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Criban Outon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkestis Papadopulos in the 40th minute of play forced GOMEZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvain Labrouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montevideo City Torque were furious when Ticho Covarrubias was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Montevideo City Torque:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GOMEZ F.C.:s goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Henry Ritter made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Guillelme Lomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montevideo City Torque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillelme Lomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvain Labrouche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alkestis Papadopulos in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Guillelme Lomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montevideo City Torque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillelme Lomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvain Labrouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Passot, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute Gu Sha Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvain Labrouche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yves Passot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Montevideo City Torque's zone, Javier Marzana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christophe Troxler came out of the goal and Javier Marzana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Yves Passot made a precise shot to the right of Silvain Labrouche. GOMEZ F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Gu Sha Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvain Labrouche having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolf Bergqvist. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillelme Lomas in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvain Labrouche saved GOMEZ F.C. from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillelme Lomas in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvain Labrouche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 91 played minutes Montevideo City Torque got a freekick which was hit by Benito Gallegos. Henry Ritter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christophe Troxler having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Guillelme Lomas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvain Labrouche was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. GOMEZ F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
