In the 3rd minute, Ospetsu Villarmerin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yves Passot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paulo Rosio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Passot in the 14th minute of play. Montevideo City Torque were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alkestis Papadopulos took the corner. The corner ended in Alkestis Papadopulos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paulo Rosio did a great save. When Ma Jian Hai fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s protests and gave Ma Jian Hai a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Atletas Campesinos F.C. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ma Jian Hai hit a great ball. Yves Passot might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Rosio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yves Passot ran back to his position shaking his head. If Yves Passot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Luís Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Hernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christophe Troxler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yves Passot might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Rosio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yves Passot ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Rosio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yves Passot's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When Montevideo City Torque's Yves Passot in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute, Luís Hernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletas Campesinos F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yves Passot was the one to do the kick off. Christophe Troxler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Hernandez in the 53rd minute of play. Remigio Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christophe Troxler having to interfere. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paulo Rosio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Meade in the 62nd minute of play. Guillelme Lomas scored 1-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Rosio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Luís Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paulo Rosio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Meade in the 77th minute of play. Paulo Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Passot in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Luís Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Rosio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gu Sha Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ospetsu Villarmerin charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ospetsu Villarmerin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Atletas Campesinos F.C. booed when Montevideo City Torque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ospetsu Villarmerin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Hernandez in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christophe Troxler saved Montevideo City Torque from getting behind. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paulo Rosio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Meade in the 95th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Transito. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Montevideo City Torque players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
