When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Rahim Niğdeli sped through CS La Libertad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernesto Monge. NAGANO F.C's Pertti Koskenkorva managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mainor Coronado in the 95 minute of the game. The NAGANO F.C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
