Paulo Rosio made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Jonatan Chaime sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the game, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Luís Hernandez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvain Labrouche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Atletas Campesinos F.C. booed when GOMEZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Aceves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in GOMEZ F.C.'s zone, Ciro Ostadar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvain Labrouche came out of the goal and Ciro Ostadar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Galindo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Silvain Labrouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Hernandez in the 35th minute of play. Paulo Rosio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonatan Chaime in the 36th minute. Luís Hernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as GOMEZ F.C.'s Henry Ritter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Rosio. That made the score 1-1 after 45 minutes of play. A hard shot 48 in the game by Henry Ritter from a close distance when the talented Paulo Rosio managed to make a qualified save. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s players were relieved. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Javier Marzana kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Luís Hernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Silvain Labrouche made a huge save. Oscar Aceves kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th play minute Luís Hernandez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Silvain Labrouche. 1-2. In the 64th minute Borja Zumiza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Atletas Campesinos F.C. were awarded a corner. Ciro Ostadar went to the cornerflag to take it. Ciro Ostadar made a great header on Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s corner, it was just that GOMEZ F.C.'s Silvain Labrouche managed to reach the ball for a save. Paulo Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Bergqvist in the 73rd minute of play. After 85 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Mouricio.
