Sportivo Chupeño's Aytek Subahi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meder Muños in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Intimos de Reynoso were awarded a corner. Marcus Björkänge went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Aquiles Castro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aytek Subahi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Sportivo Chupeño's Aytek Subahi got control of the ball when Torsten Åkesson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Meder Muños got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Rito Abel with Michel Abadie as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Meder Muños stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
