If Svend Betz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Aron Oks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svend Betz. Svend Betzs short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Aron Oks to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Svend Betz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aron Oks to make any attempt to save it. In the 23rd minute FSX UNITED were awarded a corner. Karl-Åke Kvist went to the cornerflag to take it. Ulf Bokelund scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ye Wei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Svend Betz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Aron Oks made a huge save. With a little luck, Munat Tayka's Aron Oks got control of the ball when Svend Betz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 played minutes FSX UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Popilean. When FSX UNITED's Svend Betz in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Munat Tayka's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Svend Betz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aron Oks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svend Betz in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to FSX UNITED getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Mircea Popilean hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Munat Tayka's Roger Suárez got a free kick in the 58th minute. The supporters of FSX UNITED booed when Munat Tayka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Suárez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aron Oks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Salas in the 61st minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Salas came free, but Aron Oks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Zebastian Spets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Munat Tayka made a substitution. Eliseo Mano replaced Renato Otto. After 68 played minutes FSX UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Spets. Aron Oks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Salas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Aron Oks, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Munat Tayka's Aron Oks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Salas in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Salas in the 76th minute of play forced Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Aron Oks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Amancio Baesler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Munat Tayka made a substitution. David Herstad replaced Roger Suárez. Marcelo Salas took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Oks. Aron Oks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Aron Oks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Baesler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Salas in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Oks saved Munat Tayka from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Marcelo Salas put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aron Oks. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FSX UNITED fully deserved thier win.
