The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Menéndez Walton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Tom-Lukas Queraria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Menéndez Walton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom-Lukas Queraria, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilhelm Vilhelmsson got free with Luis Castillero in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Chavez hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Vilhelm Vilhelmsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, U.C.MILÁN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 俞骋景 to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, U.C.MILÁN's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Cedeño came free, but Menéndez Walton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute Tom-Lukas Queraria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menéndez Walton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Flamengo de San Blás booed when U.C.MILÁN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Menéndez Walton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flamengo de San Blás's Wiliam Lozano was substituted for Tom-Lukas Queraria. 77 minutes into the game, Sebastiano Pareja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U.C.MILÁN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo de San Blás the free kick. After 77 played minutes U.C.MILÁN got a freekick which was hit by Sebastiano Pareja. In the 79th minute of the match Flamengo de San Blás got a corner. U.C.MILÁN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Cedeño ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 82nd minute, Vilhelm Vilhelmsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U.C.MILÁN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Luis Castillero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Manuel Gajardo in the 86th minute of play. After 87 minutes Flamengo de San Blás's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adán Ruz who took care of the corner kick. In the 87th match minute, Flamengo de San Blás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Carrillo to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Vilhelm Vilhelmsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Castillero was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Flamengo de San Blás's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
