Ksawery Witkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole-Gunnar Klose in the 14th minute of the match. Pete Luna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Mondaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski got control of the ball when Kane Einstein tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Mondaca came free, but Pete Luna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Anacleto Dessauer made a precise shot to the right of Pete Luna. Darkness's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Kane Einstein's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Ksawery Witkowski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 33 minutes into the match, Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Mondaca came free, but Pete Luna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute Juan Mondaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pete Luna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Magallanes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ole-Gunnar Klose stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Mondaca hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A collision led to Darkness getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nicolas Orland hit a great ball. Ksawery Witkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Jacindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Mondaca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pete Luna. That made the score 0-2 in the 67 minute of play. Magallanes's Juan Fernando Pirola was substituted for Alejandro Campbell. Magallanes made a substitution. Ida Bagus Leal replaced Elpidio Banda. Pete Luna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kadim Sebil in the 73rd minute of play. In the 80th minute Kadim Sebil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pete Luna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kadim Sebil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Pete Luna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Magallanes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
